National Infrastructure Bank

CMAA President and CEO Bruce D'Agostino, CAE, FCMAA, told a House subcommittee in late May 2010 that creating a National Infrastructure Bank would be "a powerful step toward assuring America of the infrastructure we will need to grow and prosper." Transportation

SAFETEA-LU, the five-year transportation authorization bill, expired on September 30, 2009 and previous levels of transportation funding have been extended through the end of 2010.

Chairman James Oberstar of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee is pressing for a comprehensive new six-year bill to replace SAFETEA-LU. These links provide additional details as of late 2009:
